Wompatuck has an active scouting community. Numerous Eagle Scouts have worked to improve the park. Most recently, several scouts improved and restored an Atomic Bunker in Wompatuck. A dedication ceremony for this project was held Veteran's Day Weekend - Saturday, November 8th. Click here see pictures of this bunker project or watch the ceremony for yourself on YouTube.
